SALIC Australia’s strategy encompasess four key pillars, fostering economic growth and innovation.

SALIC Australia's investments aim to contribute positively to Australia's development while ensuring
long-term viability and environmental responsibility.

Grains: Farming, Origination, and Supply Chain

SALIC currently holds a 100% stake in Merredin Farms (MFPL), a noteworthy agricultural enterprise that achieved remarkable production figures in the calendar year of 2022. Specifically, MFPL harvested 143,000 metric tons of wheat and 54,000 metric tons of barley. A standout feature of MFPL's operations is its focus on Wheatbelt Farming, offering a distinctive edge in the sector. This investment presents SALIC with the significant advantage of active participation in the extensive broadacre cropping industry in Australia, where it maintains a deep and integral presence.

Animal Protein:
Lamb and Beef

SALIC presently possesses a 35% ownership stake in Minerva Foods Australia ("MFA"), an entity that holds full ownership of the Australian Lamb Company ("ALC"). This strategic affiliation provides SALIC with a compelling edge in the domain of animal protein processing. It represents a valuable opportunity for SALIC to actively engage in and support a globally recognized leader in the animal proteins industry, bolstering its presence and influence in this sector.

Diversified Products

SALIC is currently implementing a diversified products strategy within the emerging Oceania region. A key emphasis of this approach is the pursuit of high-quality investments in the Whole Milk Powder industry.

This initiative is still in its early stages of development, illustrating SALIC's proactive engagement in exploring and establishing its presence in this sector.
